Cloud penetration testing for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud

Cloud penetration testing attacks your cloud the way intruders do now: through identities, keys and permissions rather than open ports. ITovio starts from a leaked key, a compromised workload or a low-privilege user and shows how far it reaches, across IAM, storage, Kubernetes, serverless and the CI/CD pipelines that deploy it all.

Enterprise only. Cyber security is the one service ITovio offers at enterprise level: established companies and enterprises with production systems worth attacking properly. We do not sell low-budget scans or small-business security packages.

Who this is for
  • Companies running production on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, or across several.
  • Teams with Kubernetes clusters, serverless functions and infrastructure as code.
  • Enterprises after a migration, a merger of cloud accounts or a rapid scale-up.
  • Organisations that need to know the blast radius of one leaked credential.
What we promise

Definitive results, not maybes

Proven, not suspected

Every finding in the report is exploited by hand and shipped with a working proof of concept, reproduction steps and evidence. No unverified scanner output, no "potential" issues padding the page count.

Ranked by business impact

Severity is scored with CVSS and then argued in plain language: what an attacker reaches, which data, which customers, what it would cost you.

Closed means closed

After you fix, we attack the same issue again. The retest report states, per finding, whether it is closed, partly closed or still open.

A clean result is still a result

If a target holds, the report says exactly what was attacked, how and for how long, so "nothing exploitable found" is evidence you can hand to a customer, auditor or board.

What we test

AreaWhat we look for
Identity and accessOver-broad roles and policies, privilege escalation paths, cross-account trust, unused but powerful identities, long-lived keys
Workload compromiseFrom one container, function or VM to cloud credentials: metadata services, mounted secrets, environment variables
Storage and dataPublic or cross-tenant buckets and blobs, snapshots and backups shared too widely, database exposure
KubernetesRBAC, service account tokens, privileged pods, exposed dashboards and kubelets, network policies, admission control
CI/CD and supply chainPipeline secrets, workflows that run untrusted pull requests with privileges, build runners with production access, registry permissions
Network edgesSecurity groups, exposed management interfaces, private endpoints that are not private, VPN and bastion access
DetectionWhether logging and alerting would have noticed the attack we just ran, and where it stays silent

Configuration review and attack, together

A configuration review lists what is wrong. An attack shows which of those findings actually matter, by chaining them into a path from a realistic starting point to something you care about. We do both: read-only review access for breadth, then hands-on exploitation, within the provider's published testing policy, for proof.

Every path is reported with the exact identities, policies and resources involved, so your platform team can fix the root cause rather than a single symptom.

Questions

Asked before most engagements

Do we need permission from AWS, Azure or Google?
The major providers allow customers to test their own resources without prior approval for most activities, within their published policies. We work inside those policies and your written authorisation.
What access do you need?
Read-only audit access for the review part, and one or more agreed starting points for the attack part, such as a low-privilege user, a test workload or a deliberately leaked key.
Do you test Microsoft Entra ID?
Yes, as part of Azure and Microsoft 365 scopes: app registrations, consent grants, conditional access gaps, privileged roles and hybrid trust with on-premises Active Directory.
Can you test infrastructure as code before it ships?
Yes. Reviewing Terraform, Bicep or CloudFormation alongside the live environment shows where the code and reality have drifted apart.
